The Global Outreach Grant is part of the ISSM's mission to make sexual medicine education and care accessible worldwide. Each year, this grant is awarded to support initiatives that enhance awareness and knowledge of sexual health issues, particularly in regions where access to educational and clinical resources is limited.
Managed by the ISSM Global Outreach Committee, the Global Outreach Grant helps fund the development and implementation of impactful sexual medicine programs in low- and middle-income countries. ISSM members globally are encouraged to apply for this great opportunity to make a difference in sexual health education and recovery strategies in their region.
The Global Outreach Grant offers an exciting opportunity to drive meaningful change in sexual health education and care, making an impact to professionals and communities in the regions that need it most.
Application deadline: 1 May 2025
- Full ISSM Members from Category B or C countries (according to the World Bank Classification) can submit a proposal individually or via an affiliated society.
- Only individuals and affiliated societies with no commercial or profit interest in the project are eligible.
- Preference will be given to applicants with a proven record of establishing educational programs.
- Applicants without a proven record may apply if they can demonstrate that they are working with an ISSM member-mentor who is a known provider of educational programs.
- Projects should be completed within 12 months of project initiation.
- Projects will be assigned up to 10,000 USD, based on submitted budget approval.
- After each event, the organizer is expected to collect feedback from attendees through questionnaires and surveys and then send a report to the ISSM executive office within 45 days.
