About WSHD:

Since 2010, WAS has called on organizations worldwide to celebrate World Sexual Health Day each September 4th, promoting greater social awareness on sexual health. WSHD has been celebrated in 60 countries with activities ranging from roundtable discussions to conferences and art exhibitions.

It has also been proclaimed as a National day in Portugal and the state of Jalisco in Mexico, and many global and local authorities have added the celebration to their calendars.
